Richard comes from a very extensive sporting background. After leaving school Richard enlisted into the NZ Army and spent 5 years applying various skills that he had learnt along the way.

Richard qualified as an Assistant PTI (Physical training Instructor) while in the NZ Army. Richard is also a qualified Personal Trainer completing a Diploma in Exercise Science at CIT in Wellington.

Prior to owning this business Richard worked for Nike New Zealand for four years, two and a half years of which was as an Account Manager based in Wellington looking after the Shoe Clinic Head Office.

For the last year and a half, Richard worked as Nike’s New Zealand Technical Advisor (EKIN), training retail and Nike staff on the technical features of a running shoe, and also informing Podiatrists NZ wide on what Nike have. 

Richard is a proud North Shore resident and his interests are any sport as long as it gets him outside. His chosen sports are Golf and Mountain Biking, he runs for general fitness and health.
