I am an over-pronater but also have high arches. Question is; Should I be looking for a stability type running shoe,a maximum cushion type or something in between? I should state that I am intending to do high mileages and am of light build (72kg).

As a very broad generalisation (it is impossible to be exact without seeing you in person) a support based shoe with very good arch support would be a guideline for you.

Ideally, you should come into Shoe Clinic and get a free computer Footscan. From there we can recommend what will fit just right for you. (We also give you a 30 day money back guarantee).
