I wear my shoes down on the outside heel, is the correct term supinating? I also have very high arches and instep and find that my feet become numb when I run even in shoes I have worn for awhile. I am a beginner runner. What type of running shoe would you recommend for the above problems?

To answer your question accurately is very difficult without seeing your feet, as there are many different things that could be causing your numbness, from your shoes being too tight to your shoes having nothing to do with it, as the nerves in your feet could be causing it. To be of more help to you, you should visit your local Shoe Clinic store talk to one of our shoe technicians. They will be able to do an analysis of your feet and then advise what will work best for you.
