Store Managers David and Jayne

David and Jayne opened the Invercargill Shoe Clinic in November 2006.

Having always been involved in selling shoes and general sporting goods, when the opportunity came along to become part of the 'Shoe Clinic' franchise, they decided it was the right move.

David White

David has been involved in retail for 26 years now and is also a keen fly fisherman and duckshooter.

Two years ago he took up Road Cycling and Mountain Biking. Most Sundays he enjoys a Social Bunch ride, riding anything between 40-60 kilometers.

David has participated in the famous Motatapu mountain Bike Experience from Wanaka to Arrowtown for the past two years. He is also a regular at RPM Classes at the local gym twice a week.

Jayne also works in the Shoe Clinic, having been involved in the business for the last 13 years. She has been a keen runner for several years and participated in several Half-Marathons, her favourites being Queenstown and Christchurch.

Jayne also took up Cycling with Dave and now prefers it over running."You cover a lot more distance a lot quicker than running", she says. She is currently preparing for her third Motatapu Challenge.

Her other interests include Aqua Jogging and RPM gym classes, so with this combination Jayne entered her first Womens Duathlon at Milbrook, Queenstown. She thoroughly enjoyed it.  Jayne is also a regular participant in the Annual 'Surf to City' fun run.

When not working or training, Jayne is a keen patchworker and gardener.

Together David and Jayne have two teenage children, a son and daughter who are both attending Otago University in Dunedin. When they return home it is not unusual to see all four of them out peddling!
