Placing an Order
When you place an order through this website, you are buying the goods from Shoe Clinic.
We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. Payment for the goods must be made at the time that you place your order. In the event that the goods are no longer available, you will be advised and your payment will be refunded in full.
An order is made on our website by placing a product in your shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process. Orders $100 and over are freight free. Orders under $100 incur a $10 freight charge.
The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order, which you are able to print as a record of your order. We will also email you with confirmation of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently or where there has been an error in the listing, description or pricing of the goods.
Pricing and Availability
All prices listed on “Shoe Clinic” website are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST, but not any
delivery charges. While we endeavour to ensure that all prices are correct when published, we reserve the right
to amend the prices where an error has occurred.
Also note, these prices listed are available online only as pricing may vary in-store.
While we endeavour to ensure that a reasonable number of goods are available at the prices stated, we cannot guarantee that there will be sufficient stock to meet all orders.
In the unlikely event where a product that has been ordered is no longer available, our Sales Representative will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options. This may result in the cancellation of your order or replacement with an alternative product.
If there is an error in pricing online, in a product description, name or product image, Shoe Clinic reserves the right to contact the customer and make the appropriate changes to the order. If an alternative option is not agreed upon with the customer, the order will be cancelled and the amount paid will be fully refunded.

Prices and Promotions Advertised on this Website
Prices and promotions advertised on this “Shoe Clinic” website are for online ordering on this website only. Consequently, prices and savings may vary in-store. To check relative prices please feel free to call or email your local Shoe Clinic store.
Website and Credit Card Security
We want you to have a safe and secure shopping experience online. All payments via our site are processed via the secure Payment Express Gateway which secures your credit card information.
Free delivery on any order over $100. All deliveries under the value of $100 will incur a $10 freight
Orders are delivered by PBT Couriers.
Your goods will be supplied by Shoe Clinic in accordance with your instructions given when you placed your order. You can change your delivery instructions at any time by contacting Shoe Clinic and quoting your order number.
At this time, we only deliver to New Zealand addresses excluding P O Boxes and Private Bags. We do not deliver outside New Zealand or accept overseas credit cards. Note that we are unable to deliver items on weekends.
Please note that a signature is required for all deliveries. To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your goods. The goods become the recipient’s property and responsibility once they have been signed for at the time of delivery. Shoe Clinic will endeavour to ensure that the majority of orders will be available for dispatch within 1 business day of the order being placed. Rural deliveries may take longer.
We will not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these terms of sale if the delay or failure arises from any cause which was beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect any of your statutory rights.
Returns and Refunds
If you are shopping in one of our Shoe Clinic stores, we would endeavour to assist you to purchase the correct product for your requirements by asking you the right questions. However, this is not as easy when you order online. If you need help or have questions about any products please contact us first, before you purchase online.
Shoe Clinic’s 30 Day Money Back Guarantee only applies to shoes purchased in-store at one of our 19 nationwide retail stores. It does not apply for online shoe purchases.
If you do purchase online and want to return or exchange the product you purchased, please do so within 60 days provided the product is unworn, in original condition (as new) and in the original packaging. All related costs (including courier/postage fees) will be at the expense of the customer. Online purchases cannot be returned at a Shoe Clinic retail store. Exchange requests will only be dispatched when the item has been returned in original condition (as new) to our warehouse.
Shoe Clinic Gift Vouchers purchased in-store or online are non-refundable.
You are also entitled to all guarantees and rights to return faulty goods that may be given by the manufacturer of the goods and by law except where excluded in these terms and conditions. Exclusions to the Fair-Trading Act 1986 and Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
Where you are in trade, you agree it is fair and reasonable that the following provisions of the Fair-Trading Act are excluded:
- Section 9 which prohibits misleading and deceptive conduct generally.
- Section 12A which prohibits unsubstantiated representations.
- Section 13 which prohibits false or misleading representations.
The guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are excluded for all purchases of goods made for business purposes. However, any manufacturer’s warranty and the Sale of Goods Act 1908 will continue to apply.
